From Kirkwall Airport
follow the A960 into Kirkwall. Follow A965 to Stromness turning right onto the A986 to Dounby after driving through
Finstown. The cottage is just to your left as you leave Dounby Village heading towards Birsay. There are horses heads at the
entrance to ensure the cottage cannot be missed. If you go past the speed limit sign, you have passed Nurses Cottage.

From Stromness Harbour take the
A964 and just outside the turn turn left onto the A967. Turn right onto the B9057 towards Dounby Village leading to the crossroads.
Turn left at the Dounby Village crossroads and the cottage is to your left after the Dounby Stores & Petrol Station.
